I have known Takkai since 1996 when we first worked together on the trading desk at an investment bank, which was a challenging environment that required you to be on your “A” game every second of the day. Throughout the chaos, Takkai always remained calm and focused; outlining in detail a plan with a timeline to get the job done. She always took the time and initiative to think things through so that the job was done correctly and on time. When you or your company need to host a flawless event, Takkai should be your very first call.

One of my favorite events was a fireside chat with fashion company founders that featured Takkai as the moderator. Thoughtful and curious, Takkai encouraged a deep conversation about the successes, the challenges, and the day to day experiences of these youthful female founders. Followed by a shopping pop up, the end to end event was empowering, engaging, and inspiring. This event, along with inspiration from Takkai’s entrepreneurial spirit, helped me take action with an entrepreneurial partnership that a friend and I recently launched called @pavlovatee.
